87-Day Express Delivery! Topband Delivers India's MWh-Level Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage Project, Setting a New Record for Single Capacity of Overseas C&I Energy Storage

On July 11, 2025, the 1MW/2.236MWh liquid-cooled energy storage container system customized by Shenzhen Topband Co., Ltd. (stock code: 002139, hereinafter referred to as "Topband") for an Indian customer was shipped from Huizhou and will be connected to the grid and put into operation at a factory in Haryana, India. From project initiation on April 14 to delivery, it only took 87 days to complete design, production, testing, and delivery, once again verifying Topband's strength in global supply chain collaboration and agile manufacturing. This project is Topband's first megawatt-hour (MWh)-level commercial and industrial energy storage (C&I ESS) project in the Indian market, marking a new step in its layout in the overseas large-capacity C&I energy storage sector and laying a new milestone for the company's in-depth business development in the South Asian market.

Addressing Pain Points: Green Energy Storage Drives Low-Carbon Transformation

In recent years, India, as one of the world's fastest-growing economies, has seen a continuous rise in industrial electricity demand. However, due to limited infrastructure, its power grid has long been plagued by aging equipment and unstable power supply. Against this backdrop, many industrial enterprises rely on diesel generators as backup power sources but have to bear high fuel costs, excessive carbon emissions, and noise pollution.

The MWh-level energy storage system delivered by Topband this time is designed to solve such pain points. By replacing traditional diesel generators, it not only helps customers significantly reduce energy costs and greatly improve power supply reliability but also, with its zero-emission and low-noise characteristics, provides a practical model for the green energy transformation in India's industrial sector. It is worth mentioning that the project adopts a standard 20-foot container with highly integrated design, effectively shortening the transportation and installation cycle, ensuring the project meets relevant qualification certifications for import into India, and achieving the delivery target on schedule.

Cutting-Edge Technology: Liquid-Cooled Intelligent Control Sets a New Industry Benchmark

The solution solves the adaptation challenges in tropical environments through three innovations:

  • Ultimate Safety Protection: 280Ah lithium iron phosphate battery cells are used to lay a solid safety foundation. It integrates multiple electrical protection functions such as lightning protection, overload protection, and short-circuit protection, as well as insulation detection, enhancing system reliability and ensuring personnel safety. Meanwhile, a dual-redundancy system of perfluorohexanone and water-based fire protection is built, combined with real-time monitoring of combustible gases and automatic ventilation, to achieve intelligent detection and rapid fire suppression. In addition, the non-steppable three-door design and independent maintenance windows greatly improve operational efficiency.

  • Excellent Temperature Control Performance: The intelligent liquid cooling thermal management system can precisely control the temperature difference of battery cells within 5℃, effectively slowing down cell degradation. Coupled with a three-level PCS (energy storage converter) with a conversion efficiency of up to 98.5% and an IP54 protection rating, the system can operate stably for a long time in a wide temperature range of -20℃ to 55℃, with better levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) throughout its life cycle.

  • Intelligent and Rapid Response: The system is equipped with a "black start" function, which can realize autonomous power supply when the power grid completely collapses, ensuring the continuity of power supply for core loads. At the same time, through multiple communication protocols such as CAN/Ethernet, it supports grid-connected/off-grid switching and remote intelligent diagnosis, minimizing the risk of downtime.
